I recently came across a new book on Oracle ADF - Oracle JDeveloper 11gR2 Cookbook from Packt Publishing. This book has really nice examples of real-time requirements that every ADF developer comes across in his/her development.
The way of presentation of each example in terms of recipes is very impressive and easily understandable. Each recipe has four main sections like 'Getting ready..', 'How to do it..', 'How it works..', 'There is more..' and cover the background of the issue/feature, solutions/implementation details, how the solution works and additional information on the feature respectively. Here is the sample chapter if you want to have a sneak peek of the book.
The book has several recipes that cover different features in ADF BC, ADF faces, Security, Performance tuning, Deployment, etc., Overall, it's a nice book that helps to understand many useful ADF features along with implementation specifics. And, it's for sure worth the space in ones' book shelf :)
